The Auction Block

Step right up. Set your max and let ’er ride — old-fashioned bidding where the crowd, not an algorithm, sets the price. A late bid resets the clock, so it ain’t over ’til the auctioneer says so.

Auctions are still in progress.

We’re building the auction block and it isn’t open yet. When it is: timed auctions for rough, cut stones, and specimens — the seller sets a starting bid, a bid increment (penny all the way up to twenty bucks), and a deadline; you set your max and the system bids for you, classic-auction style. A bid in the final minutes resets the clock — going once, going twice…

Lots will be sellers’ own material. We run the software — we’re not an auctioneer and we’re not a party to the sale.
